Who Am I?
I'm still figuring that one out.
I don't like phones
I don't like stupid people
I only like to bothered when there is money for me involved.
I'm after Anti Fame
I like to do things for kicks...money is the after effect
I don't waste my time with people who don't live their dreams.
I don't fuck with unhappy people @ all.
...and if you want to invite me somewhere, make sure it's somewhere that I would want to be.
Thanks

I'm an Artist/Designer/Weirdo....but not Real wierd....just a little bit.
I have delusions of grandeur. For Some Reason People Love to talk to me & give me their $$money$$
I am all & I am nothing.
I was born in the big bang & I will die in the great contraction.
I create stuff...what ever pops into & out of my mind.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

THE DIVINE QUEST of ADAH

I create all types of stuff.... But lately, I like to run around causing trouble, generating ideas, playing with my puppets & polishing my guillotine while Babylon burns.

I don't have any solutions for all of the fucked up things that's going on in the world-- but I do have some lighter fluid & a match, ya' dig? I'm a urban hermit that only feels like being bothered about once every ten years.

My daily is life is stranger than fiction, but being the mother of Urban, Hannibal, Cyrus, & Sebastian keeps me grounded in reality. My kids rock! Outside of my mother & wifely duties, I am the CEO of the Adahma Corporation and proprietor of Adahma Studio in Los Angeles where I hatch all my plans & schemes for global domination....just for my amusement.

I've been a lot of different people @ different points in time....and I guess some of you are just figuring that out. I have embarked on a journey to be me and to keep discovering me. And where ever that path leads…that is what I will be doing until further notice.

BIOGRAPHY:

Adah Glenn is a visionary artist, producer, and CEO of Adahma Corporation. She is also known as the creative entity AfroPuff. Her artistic vision lies in the intersection of art + media + design + commerce. She draws inspiration from everything around her but current fascinations include Victorian erotica, classic animation, manga, anime, pop art, graffiti, street art, commercial packaging, medieval weaponry, quilting, comics, and hot rods.

Adah’s career began in 1969 when she was 6 months old with her first appearance in a Pampers commercial. She initially started her training in acting, dance, and music at USC’s School of Performing Arts while in grade school.

In the 90’s while in college, she developed a love millinery and doll making which evolved into line of hats which were quite popular with rock bands like and for the musical groups: Fishbone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Digital Underground, and for the T.V. Show- "A Different World". She was profiled in the L.A. Weekly as one of the maddest hat designers in Los Angeles. That was the beginning of what would later become AfroPuff Products. Now, AfroPuff has become the umbrella company for all of Adah’s products and merchandise that consists of media content, a line of books, greeting cards, t-shirts, skate decks, stickers, prints, toys, and accessories.

Adah’s imagination and diverse skill set has lead her to use her talents in many areas in the art, design, and entertainment industries. Her roles have ranged from art direction, character design, graphic design, brand & content development. Adah’s Client list includes: Chiat/Day, Motown, Disney, Saban Entertainment, Mattel, The Bead Fairy, and The Original Snake Doctor Brand.

After 10 years of life in the corporate art and media world, she took a leap of faith and started Adahma Corporation in 2002. Armed only with a head full of dreams and a few hard drives of creative content, she seized control over her career, destiny, and her life. Part concept store, part studio, Adahma Corporation is located in the under the radar community of Picfair Village in Los Angeles.

Adah’s artwork is frequently shown in art fairs, galleries, film festivals, and museums. Her craft projects have been featured on Home & Garden Television’s Crafter’s Coast To Coast Episode # 158. AfroPuff is also the creator and producer of Whatever & COSMIC MUMBO JUMBO cable access shows, and numerous animated short films.

Currently, she is embarking on a new chapter in the theater scene with two new productions: AfroPuff’s Playhouse & Cosmic Mumbo Jumbo Live the make it’s début performance as part of The Hollywood Fringe Festival.

In addition to Adah’s many professional achievements. She is a native resident of Los Angeles who enjoys pursuing the hobbies of laptop music, sculpting, fabricating, printing, stenciling, stickering, and baking. All while juggling the major roles of her life as artist, wife, business owner, and mother of four wonderful children & a dog named Rufus.
